So VP Osinbajo Is Far Richer Than President Buhari?

As you should know by now, Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, have declared their asset publicly, giving every Nigerian to know what they are truly worth.

President Buhari is worth just N30million in cash, “farms, an orchard and a ranch. The total number of his holdings in the farm include 270 heads of cattle, 25 sheep, five horses, a variety of birds and a number of economic trees”.

He has a “number of cars, two of which he bought from his savings and the others supplied to him by the federal government in his capacity as former Head of State. The rest were donated to him by well-wishers after his jeep was damaged in a Boko Haram bomb attack on his convoy in July 2014.

But on his part, Vice President Osinbajo is worth:
N94million and 900,000 United States Dollars in his accounts as a lawyer before his foray into politics.

His asset declaration include a 4-bedroom at Victoria Garden City, VGC, Lagos and a 3-bedroom flat at Ikoyi, a 2-bedroom mortgaged property in Bedford, England, etc.

Aside from these, the Vice President has no other landed properties on the form.

“Apart from his law firm, known as Simmons Cooper, the Vice-President also declared shareholding in six private companies based in Lagos, including Octogenerium Ltd., Windsor Grant Ltd., Tarapolsa, Vistorion Ltd., Aviva Ltd. and MTN Nigeria.

I believe President Buhari is the kind of man we need at this time. Let him appoint those he trust. Simple!

  1. Honestly speaking, it's nice to have him (PMB) as our President maybe because he has plans or because we, Nigerians believe in Him for some positive changes.
Yet notwithstanding, we should never cease to pray for him that he should not neglect his promises and ignore our reliance by seeking to increase his own personal worth from N 30 million to ...
    God bless Nigeria
    God uphold Buhari
    God uplift Nigerians
God make us a one Nation
