An eight-year-old boy, who is believed to have the world’s biggest hands, has finally underwent a life-saving operation in Combiatore, Tamil Nadu state, India.

Mohammad Kaleem, from a small village in Jharkhand State, suffers from an extremely rare form of local giantism that causes his hands and arms grow constantly. At the moment of the operation his upper limbs weighed more then 12 kilograms and kept growing.

The boy experiences lots of difficulties – he was not admitted to school due to his scary appearance, he can’t dress himself, eat and take a bath unaided. Besides physical problems Kaleem and his parents also face bullying from their superstitious neighbours.

The locals believe that Kaleem is a ‘devil’s child’ and his giant hands is actually the result of a curse. “There is no treatment for this boy. He is a devil’s child. This is just because his parents must have committed a wrong deed at some point in their life,” one of the villagers said.

After several international newspapers published the boy’s story, a team of medical experts agreed to provide help and perform an urgent surgery. The medics eventually performed a series of complicated operations to reduce the growth of his forearm, hand and fingers, so Kaleem can use them.

After the operation Kaleem’s father Shamim said: “We knew that there is no such thing as a devil’s child. The villagers love to gossip and that is what they are doing about our son. Ultimately, he is our son and we have to take care of him.”

Photo:Lagos Cleric arrested doing fake deliverance on a lady with sex
A 42-year-old self-professed Islamic cleric, known locally as Alfa, has been arrested and charged before Isolo Magistrates’ court for engaging a 34 year-old lady in s*x deliverance that lasted for three days.
The cleric, Jamiu Mukaila, reportedly defrauded the lady, Bose Alele, to the tune of N350,000 after which he engaged her in a three-day marathon s*x under the false pretence of casting evil spirit out of her.
The incident happened in her house at Ire-Akari Road in Isolo, a suburb of Lagos.

According to Bose, who is still in shock, Mukaila approached her and introduced himself as Alfa and told her that he had a revelation from God concerning making her life better.
He told her that she was possessed by evil spirit and that she needed deliverance to cast out the evil spirit so that favour will come her way. Part of the condition he gave her was that she would pay N350,000 which would be used to buy spiritual materials and that she must sleep with him for three days.
She said he assured her that she would enjoy favours after he had worked on her and that she would equally get a husband of her choice after the deliverance.
Bose said she did not know what came over her immediately after the encounter as she paid the N350,000 he requested and she allowed him have s*x with her for three days before she came to her senses.
Immediately she realised that she had fallen for the cleric’s deception, she went to Aswani Police Division and reported what happened.
Alfa Mukaila was arrested and taken to the station where he confessed to committing the crimes.
He claimed that he was born into an Alfa family and inherited the gift of prophecy and deliverance.
When the police prosecutor, Inspector Abas Abayomi charged Mukaila to court with stealing and obtaining s*x under false pretence under the Criminal Code, he pleaded not guilty.
The presiding Magistrate, Mrs Joy Ugbomoiko granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties. According to PM News, the funny case was adjourned till 5 August, 2015 for trial.
